Mfon Edemekong is a seasoned lawyer with over twenty years post call experience, She is well vest in various contemporary legal issues. She is a passionate lawyer that believes in Gender balancing and equal opportunity for all persons irrespective of sex. She advocates against gender based violence, Sexual Harassment in Institution of Learning and workplace, and remain a loud voice for the girl child. Her high leadership pedigree has earned her a couple of noteable leadership positions in the society such as the State Chairperson of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), an Executive of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Law Officers Association of Nigeria. She is a chartered Mediator and has attended lots of legal conferences, seminars and workshops within and outside Nigeria. Mfon Edemekong is presently working with the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Justice as the Director, Department of Legal Drafting.
